Several years ago you wrote an article which seemed a mild commentary on YouTube “spam” of artists’ videos, mentioning the Turkish singer BARIS AKARSU. I came across your article because I was researching online the number and kinds of musical instruments BARIS had taught himself to play. (He played modern rock instruments as well as traditional Turkish instruments.)
The purpose of this post is to ask you if you would please be so kind as to read the post I made 09-22-2011 to your article of 2007, mentioned above. Hopefully, the backstory gives substance and life to what at first appears to be a YouTube video-posting blitz (my word, not yours–you were more subtle!), ranking 4th in its time. I hope it gives also meaning and merit to each and every one of those “Baris Forever” posts.
